Coming Home Tips:
Owning a dog is a serious commitment but once you are ready, it is a commitment that is full of love, comfort and joy. We strongly encourage you to continue what we have already begun…never allow your puppy to nip or play bite or to jump on your legs and if you or a family member has allergies, don’t allow the puppy to lick, as the saliva is what most people are allergic to. These playful activities may be cute and sweet when they are young but lead to difficulties later on. They are habits that are much easier to break when they are very young. We encourage you to spend just 5 minutes daily working on basic commands, and enroll in some training classes. Training classes are avwonderful way to bond with your dog!
